"You don't choose who you fall in love
with, you only choose what you do about it."
The lionshare of these songs deal with the idea
of what to do about love after the fact. All of them
encompass conversations anyone could
have, or indeed, you or I have had.

Choosing love songs you identify with is akin to keeping a secret diary.
On the surface they're just songs written by strangers a world away.
Under the skin they are part of a person's core; sometimes the only way
to express (perhaps only to yourself) or explain emotions too fragile
or complex to speak out loud.
